WMAHA High Point Program

For many people, part of the fun of having an Arabian horse is becoming a better rider/handler and competing at shows. In an effort to reward excellent work in the show ring by our members, WMAHA has put together a high point program that tracks the results of our members at the series of Arabian Community Shows (ACS) that we put on.  The requirement for someone to be part of the program is simple—become a member of WMAHA!

At the start of the show season, we run a membership list as of April 1 and publish it here. If you are on the list, you are in the points program. If you join later or do not see your name on the list, you must contact Cary Van Spronsen via email or 616-293-2962 to verify your membership. Submission of a copy of your AHA membership card showing your affiliate membership with WMAHA will be required. No additional costs or forms are needed.

We will post a running tally of the standings for our ACS events on our website. Additionally, we post preliminary ACS results to the GaitKeeper web site and finalized results to the AHA web site.

At the end of the show season, points are double checked and award winners are announced. Prizes vary from glassware to horse items to clothing and belt buckles. All are proudly emblazoned with the WMAHA logo and your placing.

The wrap-up for the high point program is the awards banquet in January where we enjoy food, friends and the presentation of awards for your achievements!
