Club Information

The West Michigan Arabian Horse Association holds four horse shows a year.

Our big Class 'A' Show is over Labor Day weekend and we have approximately 340 horses competing. The competition is awesome and we have the best trophies and ribbons in the state of Michigan. Please plan on joining us, or if you wish information, e-mail pamk@iserv.net

We also have three All Arabian Unrated shows, held once a month at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds, Hudsonville, Michigan, during May, June and July. The show schedule consists of 45 classes, which include Halter for the Purebred & Half Arabian, 3 showmanship, 2 walk-trot, lead line and English and Western performance classes.

We present nice awards for 1st place, 4 Championship classes and a High Point award for both the Youth and Adult riders.

Our unrated shows are open to everybody and you do not have to be a member of WMAHA unless you wish to sign up for Year End Awards.

The only requirement is to have a registered Purebred or Half Arabian, along with a negative Coggins test. Our entry fees are a low $5.00 for adult classes and $3.00 for the youth.

These are great shows for the beginning horse or rider, and we have lots of fun, so come join us this summer.
